About Exam

The minimum qualification to appear in the exam is graduation. Candidates should have basic understanding of statistics and the statistical tools. They should be in the field of process improvement programme. The course consists of the basic methodology and all the various tools and techniques that require for a particular problem or process improvement. After the certification candidates will be able to understand the basic principles of the Six Sigma methodology.
 If a Candidate does not pass the exam in the second (2nd) attempt, the candidate must wait for a period of at least fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of their attempt to retake the exam for third (3rd) time or any subsequent time. The exam can be taken any number of times.

Format of Exam

  • Multiple choice
  • 100 questions per paper
  • To pass the exam the candidate must achieve a minimum score of 385 points out of
    a total potential of 500 points that is 77% (77 out of 100)
  • 180 minutes duration(3 hour allotted)
  • Closed book.
