About Exam

The CISST certification is a globally recognized professional requirement in the IT Security domain. This certification is best-suited for whosoever is already working as Security Consultants/Managers, IT Directors/Managers, Security Auditors/Architects, Security Engineers, Chief Information Security Officers and Network Architects.
If a Candidate does not pass the exam in the second (2nd) attempt, the candidate must wait for a period of at least fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of their attempt to retake the exam for third (3rd) time or any subsequent time. The exam can be taken any number of times. 

Format of Exam

  • Multiple choice
  • 120 questions per paper
  • 84 marks required to pass (out of 120 available) - 70%
  • 120 minutes duration(2 hour allotted)
  • Closed book.
